Job Description
Overview: An excellent opportunity for a junior Electrical Engineer to be a key player in the growth of an expanding M&E team within an International, Engineering, and Design Consultancy.
Location: Düsseldorf
Salary: €55,000 – 70,000 + Package benefits
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Lead Engineer and project teams to develop electronic designs for data center construction projects, ensuring alignment with project requirements and specifications.
- Develop detailed diagrams of electrical installations and coordinate with other disciplines to allocate initial space reservations for equipment and infrastructure.
- Utilize 3D Revit/BIM software to model electrical installations based on diagrams and coordinated space reservations, ensuring accuracy and compatibility with other building systems.
- Address any design challenges or modifications during the construction phase, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to project timelines.
- Actively participate in design reviews and project meetings, providing input and feedback to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of electrical systems.
- Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and regulations related to electrical engineering and data center construction, incorporating best practices into project designs and processes.
- Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports, to support the construction and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Demonstrate a commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability in all aspects of electrical engineering design and construction.
Experience:
- A Bachelor and/or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Ideally 1-2 years relevant work experience
- Experience with Revit / CAD software
- Knowledge of German laws and regulations
- Proficiency in German and/or English
Requirements:
- Must be living and eligible to work in Germany.
