Ingredients
For muthia:
whole wheat flour 1/2 cup
chickpea flour 1/2 cup
semolina 1/2 cup
1 small carrot grated
1 small courgette (zucchini) grated
1/2 cup grated cabbage (optional)
1 tablespoon ginger paste or an inch of fresh ginger minced
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon coriander powder
pinch of asofetieda
small bunch of coriander leaves
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon oil
For tempering:
2 tablespoons of oil
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon mustard seeds
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
desiccated coconut (optional)
2-4 curry leaves
Recipe:
Mix the muthia ingredients in a bowl. Add water if needed for the dough. It should be similar to pizza dough.
Roll them into cylinder shapes
Place them in a greased tray
Steam on a stove for 20 minutes or in a microwave for 8-10 minutes
Slice them into pieces
Stir fry in the tempering ingredients
Serve with yogurt 🙂
